Watching the Richardson Family Grow with Maternity and Lifestyle Family Session

Words can't even describe my love and adoration for this little family!  Amanda and Jack made their way into our lives years ago when we shot their wedding just a few weeks after we ourselves got married (we cried like babies behind the camera)!  Since then we have popped back into eachothers lives through photography classes, running into eachother and raising little girls together!  I was so excited to hear they were adding a little boy to the mix and couldn't wait to capture another milestone in their lives.

For Amanda's maternity photos we couldn't think of a better place than where she said 'I Do' years ago, so we headed to Glendale Shoals to walk the very steps she did towards Jack on their wedding day but now holding hands with their sweet little girl and an adorable bump with their newest addition on the way.

I can't wait to meet this little guy and see Ella Jane turn into a big sister!

Modern Mom Tara in a Downtown Greenville Urban Maternity Shoot

When Tara was pregnant with her first she was up and down with bed rest for weeks and we never got to do maternity photos.  I was so excited when we found out she was expecting her second and I was ready to do something completely new and fresh for her session that would match her chic and modern style.  I knew Downtown Greenville would be a great spot for us with all of the mixed new and old buildings as our backdrop for a really cool urban vibe to capture her last trimester of pregnancy with her second little boy.

Thanks so much for letting me try something new and different for your maternity session Tara, these photos came out incredible!  Hang in there these last few weeks and take good care of that little man! (Both of them!)

Mama to be Emily

To say I'm excited for these two is an understatement, we have been friends for years and even have the same wedding anniversary !  Shooting this session was a joy and brought me right back to a little over a year ago and being pregnant in the South Carolina heat (it's serious y'all).

I'm so glad that Emily decided to do a maternity session so that she can reflect back on her pregnancy one day.  Especially with your first you can be so overwhelmed with all of the changes and symptoms and questions and anxiousness its hard to really sit and reflect on the amazing journey you, your body and your family is going through.  I hope these photos are a great reminder so that they never forget the 'simpler times' with just the two of them waiting on baby Connor!
